Bullet Race Engineering's New Billet Block: Bigger is Better, But Will the Head Handle It?
There's no substitute for cubic inches, as the saying goes (except maybe revs, turbos, and nitrous!). Bullet Race Engineering is proving that point with their new billet block for the Nissan RB26 engine.
This block boasts a massive 94.5mm stroke and 90mm bore, pushing displacement all the way up to 3607cc. That's a significant jump from the stock RB26DETT's 73.7mm stroke and 86mm bore, which comes in at 2568cc.
The question on everyone's mind: can the stock cylinder head keep up with this much extra flow? The stock head might be a bottleneck for this high-displacement setup.
