Midnight Purple II R34 Skyline GT-R : How much does it weigh

 

We decided to weigh the Midnight Purple II R34 Skyline GT-R this last weekend. The car is getting ready to go out to the customer. It was imported under the NHTSA Show or Display exemption. The Show or Display exemption, allows you to legally import vehicles that are less than 25 years old, to the US. However each vehicle type must be approved, and each individual car must be specifically approved by the NHTSA.  Not every vehicle is eligible for Show or Display. Many cars have been determined ineligible for the exemption.  If the Show or Display approved vehicle is under 21 years old, it also must be brought into EPA compliance. While the Nissan Skyline GT-R is not a hand crafted sports car, it does have some cool features for a production car. The Vspec verision has a carbon fiber rear diffuser, which is something you normally only see on high end sports cars.
